Laws-Unpaid Breaks

You work hard, so we want to make sure we take care of you, we also have guests to serve and we want to make sure we take care of them too. Your manager typically will set a break schedule prior to each shift change. Every state has a different break law, so please click on the state you work in to find out which law applies to you.

Every employee scheduled to work seven and one-half (7 ½) consecutive hours or more will be given an uninterrupted, unpaid twenty (20) minute meal period

There is no state break law.
