When federal and state minimum wages differ, the higher wage is paid.<\/p>\n<p>Overtime must be paid to non-exempt associates for all hours worked over 40 per workweek. (If state law differs from the federal law, the law that results in the higher overtime pay to associates is the law that must be observed).<\/p>\n<p>An established workweek is a fixed and regularly occurring period of 168 hours \u2013 seven consecutive 24-hour periods.<\/p>\n<p>Federal and state law requires the following information:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Address<\/li>\n<li>Occupation<\/li>\n<li>Rate of pay<\/li>\n<li>Scheduled earnings<\/li>\n<li>Date of birth<\/li>\n<li>Sex of individual<\/li>\n<li>Time of day<\/li>\n<li>Day of week when employee\u2019s workweek begins<\/li>\n<li>Hours worked each workday<\/li>\n<li>Overtime earnings for the week<\/li>\n<li>Daily or weekly base earnings<\/li>\n<li>Wages paid each pay period<\/li>\n<li>Date of payment<\/li>\n<li>Pay period covered by payment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong><sub><a href=\"https:\/\/hamraenterprises.com\/pt\/wendys-handbook\/federalandstatelaws\/\">Return to Federal and State Laws<\/a><\/sub><\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><sub>\u00a0<\/sub><\/p>","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"template":"","class_list":["post-3945","wendys-handbook","type-wendys-handbook","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.4 -
