What is DailyPay?<\/strong><\/p><p>DailyPay is a company-sponsored benefit that allows our employees to access a portion of their\u00a0 base wages in advance of payday.<\/p><p><strong>2. Can I use DailyPay if I get paper checks?<\/strong><\/p><p>No, DailyPay is designed to work with those being paid via direct deposit, either to a checking or savings account, or a prepaid card.<\/p><p><strong>3. Is DailyPay a loan?<\/strong><\/p><p>DailyPay is not a loan. It\u2019s simply an upgrade to our existing payroll system that allows our members of our staff to access some of their pay faster than they\u2019d otherwise be able to. The amount of money that you have access to is based on your approved hours \u2013 meaning that you\u2019ve already earned this money, it just hasn\u2019t been paid out to you yet.<\/p><p><strong>4. How much money will be available to me?<\/strong><\/p><p>You will have access to any amount up to, and including, the available balance shown in your DailyPay online account. For the first three pay periods post-enrollment in DailyPay, your Available Balance will be 50% of your gross pay (25% if you have garnishments, such as child support payments). After the first three pay periods, your Available Balance will be automatically recalculated to reflect 80% of your net pay, after deductions like taxes, retirement contributions, etc. are considered. Remainder pay not included in your Available Balance will be paid to you automatically at no cost on your normal payday.<\/p><p><strong>5. When will I see updates to my available balance?<\/strong><\/p><p>Your available balance is updated daily as soon as your most recent shift hours are sent to DailyPay.<\/p><p><strong>6. How quickly will I receive my money?<\/strong><\/p><p>DailyPay offers two types of transfers: next-business-day and instant. The timing is as follows:<\/p><ul><li>Instant \u00a0= money is available instantly, 24\/7, including nights, weekends, and bank holidays.<\/li><li>Next Day = Transfers requested prior to 5:30PM EST are available in the morning on the next business day. Business days are defined as Monday through Friday, excluding bank holidays.<\/li><\/ul><p>Please note: to use DailyPay Now, you will need to enter your debit card or paycard number on the \u201cAccount Settings\u201d page at https:\/\/www.dailypay.com\/account_settings then click on Debit Cards and add new information. This is because DailyPay Now transfers are sent through a different type of mechanism than regular (ACH) transfers sent to routing and account numbers.<\/p><p><strong>7. How often can I use DailyPay?<\/strong><\/p><p>DailyPay is 100% voluntary and can be used as often as you like, up to three transfers per day.<\/p><p><strong>8. How much does DailyPay cost?<\/strong><\/p><p>Like an ATM, you only pay for DailyPay when you use it. 1-3 biz day transfers are free. Now transfers cost $3.49.<\/p><p><strong>9. How can I sign up?<\/strong><\/p><p>There are four ways to sign up.<\/p><ul><li>#1: DailyPay will send you a welcome email within a day after receiving your shift hours. Click the \u201cGet Started\u201d button in the email.<\/li><li>#2: Download the DailyPay App.<\/li><li>#3: Sign up at the DailyPay site: http:\/\/www.dailypay.com.<\/li><li>#4: Text \u201cSTART\u201d to 66867.<\/li><\/ul><p><strong>10. I didn\u2019t receive my welcome email. What happened?<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>The email may have gone into your \u201cSpam\u201d or \u201cTrash\u201d folders, depending on your email service provider and email preferences. Check both folders, and if possible, search for our company name or the word \u201cDailyPay.\u201d For Gmail users: you can also search in your \u201cAll Mail\u201d folder.<\/li><li>If you still can\u2019t find the email, please contact DailyPay customer service via phone, email, or chat. This is called a \u201cpre-note\u201d and it\u2019s not a charge \u2013 it\u2019s simply a way for us and DailyPay to verify that your account number is correct. I\u2019m currently using DailyPay but need to update my direct deposit information.
