Age Verification and I–9 Information

To comply with federal and state laws, certain information must be obtained before an employee can begin work.

 

  1. All employees of Hamra Enterprises must be at least 16 years of age. No one is permitted to hire an individual less than 16 years of age.
  2. The Department of Homeland Security requires all employees to complete an I–9 form to provide proof of authorization to work in the U.S. The employee will need to complete and sign section  one of the form. The employee is required to provide Hamra Enterprises the necessary documents in order for the manager to complete section two of the form.
  3. Generally, the following documents are the most commonly used:
    • S. Passport
    • State issued identification – such as a driver’s license or an id card
    • Social security card or birth certificate
